Alimentos  funcionais são alimentos de verdade que contêm constituintes benéficos para a nossa saúde:
    • Crucíferas ou Brássicas (nabo , rabanete , agrião , couve galega , couve de bruxelas, couve repolho, couve flor, brócolos e rabano). 
    • Bagas e frutos vermelhos (açaí, morangos , mirtilos , amoras , framboesas ,romãs ) que são antioxidantes.
    • Peixes selvagens, prioritariamente, e carnes de pasto magras. 
    • Chucrute, alho, gengibre, açafrão da índia + pimenta preta, espargos, cacau + 80%, sumo de limão, abacate.
    • Ervas aromáticas e especiarias, gengibre, curcuma, orégãos, manjericão, hortelã, entre outras.
    • Limão.
    • Fibras (folhas, legumes, verduras, farelo de aveia, linhaça, sementes de chia, psylium)
    • PANC’s (plantas alimentícias não convencionais) como: dente de leão, beldroega, urtiga, entre outras.
