Com todo o stresse e a preocupação que o dia a dia traz para nós, é normal sentirmos ansiedade, preocupação, desgaste mental e físico. A rotina contemporânea, quase sempre, muito agitada e caótica consome o tempo livre, deixando pouco momentos para relaxar. Se não dá para tirar férias agora, que tal diminuir e combater os sintomas da ansiedade? A alimentação pode ser uma grande aliada para este problema.

Um dos sintomas da ansiedade pode ser a compulsão por comida, principalmente aquelas mais calóricas, mas felizmente alguns nutrientes poderosos podem ajudar muito nessa luta, equilibrando o corpo para superar os desafios da vida moderna. Uma alimentação que restringe os hidratos de carbono pode gerar um stresse maior no organismo, já que há uma restrição na fonte de energia. Isto ajuda com que a pessoa fique mais ansiosa e produza menos serotonina – neurotransmissor que gera prazer e bem estar no organismo.

Quando há a restrição de hidratos de carbono, o nosso organismo precisa produzir energia, promovendo uma libertação maior de cortisol (hormona do stresse), em vez de serotonina.

  • O triptofano é outro nutriente que pode ajudar no combater da ansiedade. Ele é um percursor da serotonina, fornecendo assim uma sensação de prazer e bem estar. Exemplos de alguns alimentos que são fontes de tripofano:

👉🏻amêndoas – Bolo de cenoura com chocolate de cacau sem farinha

  • A ingestão de magnésio pode, também,  ajudar. É um sal mineral que compõe diversos alimentos como feijão e diversos legumes e folhas da cor verde escura. 
  • Além disso, a prática de exercícios não pode faltar, pois ajuda na libertação de hormonas e neurotransmissores que diminuem a ansiedade e stresse do nosso organismo.
